Design Engineer

DESIGN ENGINEER
Remilia Corporation — Orange County

Remilia is a multidisciplinary art studio and lifestyle brand building unconventional social applications. We produce underground culture events with emerging artists globally and are building a social media platform to connect these communities.

We're looking for a talented design engineer who bridges creative design with development. You'll translate sophisticated Figma designs into pixel-perfect React code, working closely with designers and engineers to ship memorable user experiences.

You have:

• 4+ years frontend development with strong React expertise

• Great Figma skills (components, prototyping, design systems)

• Strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript

• Experience shipping social media or ecommerce applications

• Deep understanding of responsive design and mobile patterns

• Portfolio showing both design sensibility and technical implementation

Bonus:

• Swift or Kotlin for native mobile

• Experience with Cursor, Claude Code, etc.

• Animation expertise (Framer Motion, GSML)

• Backend/API understanding

You’ll:

• Transform Figma designs into production-quality React components

• Build sophisticated social interfaces with complex interactions and animations

• Develop and maintain component libraries and design systems

• Collaborate with designers to refine designs during implementation

• Bridge communication between design and engineering teams

• Optimize frontend performance while maintaining visual quality
