You will be responsible for the design, development, and expansion of the data ecosystem that powers business intelligence, advanced analytics, reporting, and emerging AI agents. This role uniquely combines deep technical engineering with critical business awareness, offering a front-row seat to how AI-ready data transforms customer support and operational efficiency. You will architect, maintain, and support our enterprise data warehouse, corresponding data platforms, and core data interfaces.
This opportunity merges technical expertise with creative problem-solving, making a significant, measurable impact in how our company harnesses the power of data. You'll be instrumental in developing the high-scale infrastructure necessary to fuel our next generation of intelligent systems.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL BE...

You are not just managing data; you are enabling intelligence and operational excellence:

• Architecture & Development: Design, build, and launch new ETL and data pipeline processes in production. You will also mentor team members on efficient query design and optimization.
• Data Integrity & Security: Ensure data reliability and security through robust governance practices and a deep understanding of the full data management lifecycle.
• AI-Ready Data: Specifically design and implement Agentic AI tools for Support and structured AI-ready datasets. While direct AI/LLM experience isn't mandatory, a strong curiosity, adaptability, and motivation to learn in this space are essential.
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner effectively with business stakeholders, engineering teams, product managers, and data scientists to translate data needs into meaningful technical solutions.
• System Integration: Work seamlessly with third-party platforms for data ingestion, as well as in-house data tools, ensuring technical solutions are tightly aligned with core business and customer needs.
• Global Communication: Communicate effectively across time zones to clarify complex requirements and report progress across global teams.
• On-Call Support: Participate in a weekday, business-hours on-call rotation to support data pipelines and ingestion systems—ensuring timely issue resolution without overnight or weekend obligations.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
We are looking for a highly capable Data Engineer ready to step into a leadership position within our data landscape.

• Core Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience with SQL, ETL, and data modeling.
• Programming Mastery: Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Go, TypeScript, C++, C#, Scala).
• Pipeline Expertise: Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and workflow processes at scale.
• Database Fluency: Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or MongoDB.
• Workflow Tools: Experience with pipeline and workflow management tools, such as Airflow or DBT, and/or stream-processing systems like Kafka or AWS SNS/SQS.
• AI Motivation: A clear interest in AI-driven systems and a strong motivation to quickly learn how data engineering directly supports intelligent automation.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a proactive, customer-oriented mindset—understanding how engineering creates measurable business impact.
• Location: Ability to work primarily from the Prague, Czech Republic office.
• Nice to Have: Familiarity with software engineering principles, including code versioning (Git), CI/CD practices, and systematic testing.
