Software Engineer
Metron is seeking experienced Software Engineers in Reston/Manassas to write high quality, maintainable software providing state-of-the-art solutions for national security customers. Responsibilities include the entire problem-solving process from concept, algorithm design, software implementation, deployment to hardware/cloud platforms, and on-site debugging. Candidates must have significant Java experience and work collaboratively as part of a diverse team.
Associate Software Engineer
Metron seeks programmers with strong computer science, math, and/or physics backgrounds to write backend infrastructure and frontend web applications for simulation and optimization software. Roles involve the entire problem-solving process, from concept through deployment, requiring proficiency in object-oriented programming and experience with specific languages like Java, TypeScript, Python, or C++. Candidates must be US Citizens, and while the role is based in Reston, VA, relocation timelines are flexible.
Software Engineer
The Software Engineer will develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems, including processing-intensive analytics and real-time systems, based on documented requirements. Key responsibilities involve writing well-designed, maintainable code, reviewing and testing software components, and providing input to system design decisions.
